First Step
Founded in Hamm to supply Eastern European utilities. Expanded from electrical components to transformers, switchgear, and substations—focused on shorter lead times and strong manufacturers.
Poland Branch
A subsidiary in Poznań opened to grow the Eastern European MV/LV market. The local presence improved market access before the company was sold to a manufacturer in 2003.
EPC Launch
Shift to EPC for MV/HV projects, delivering complete substation solutions from planning to commissioning—enabling reliable single-source delivery in a changing market.
Extra-High Voltage & Service
A Poland-based service unit introduced 24/7 support for grid operators. Entry into EHV up to 420 kV and disconnector sales enabled first EHV projects in Eastern Europe.
Teaching and Grid Integration of Renewable Energies
Lecturer at SRH Hamm (Power Network Economics) involving the development of teaching materials, lectures, laboratory practicals, excursions, and a research program on the integration of pumped-storage power plants into hard coal mines. Founded Rensys Management Consulting in Germany and Rensys Sp. z.o.o. in Poland to advise international clients and develop grid connections for wind farms, specializing in renewable energy and branding under “Renewable Energy Systems”.
Offshore Wind
Participation in grid connection projects for German offshore wind farms such as Borkum Riffgrund and Gode Wind with more than 1 GW of capacity. Focus on technical solutions, stakeholder management, and cable routing in complex sea crossings.
Hydrogen Studies
Analysis of the use of offshore wind power for hydrogen production at sea, including costs, storage alternatives, and direct injection into the gas grid. Renewable Energy & Medium-Voltage Solutions

Founding of Rensys GmbH in Hamm, Germany, including team building for growing customer projects. Establishment of Segrico Süd in Montenegro for service projects in Southern Europe to enable rapid scaling and quality assurance. Planning and negotiation for the replacement of 220/10 kV transformers with 380/10 kV transformers, including a concept for partial operation during the conversion.
Grid Expansion Bavaria
Project management for the construction and modernization of the 110/20 kV grid infrastructure in Bavaria — from planning and implementation to commissioning.
Grid and Storage Projects
Management of a 250 MW battery storage project including planning, coordination, and risk management for grid integration; technical leadership of electrolysis projects with several hundred MW of capacity from grid planning to commissioning; development and implementation of connection concepts for large generation parks such as Boldekow and Schadewohl.
