We maintain a permanent standby capability with contractually defined response times to ensure swift reaction to incidents. From remote fault analysis through to the coordination of on-site crews, we organise and dispatch the right resources — including authorised switching personnel — for planned and emergency operations. Our aim is to restore safe operation quickly while minimising operational impact.

Remote Fault Response

When an alarm is raised, our control centre initiates immediate remote fault analysis — reviewing SCADA data, alarm history, and equipment status to assess the incident and determine the required response. Many faults can be diagnosed and partially resolved remotely before on-site attendance is required.

On-Site Response & Coordination

Where on-site attendance is required, we coordinate the dispatch of the right personnel — qualified engineers, authorised switching personnel, or specialist contractors — with the right equipment. We manage crew logistics, access authorisations, and safety briefings to ensure a safe, structured response under defined response windows.

Switching Personnel Deployment

All switching operations are carried out by formally authorised personnel following approved switching protocols. We maintain a roster of authorised switching staff available around the clock, ensuring that emergency switching can be performed safely and without delay when systems require intervention.

Post-Incident Management

Following every incident, we produce a structured post-incident report covering fault cause analysis, response timeline, actions taken, and recommendations for recurrence prevention. Documentation is maintained for regulatory compliance and asset lifecycle planning.

Our Saftey & Security Standard

Permanent Standby

Our standby capability is permanent — not on-demand. Response resources are pre-positioned, contractual response windows are binding, and escalation paths are tested regularly to ensure readiness at all times.

Defined Response Times

Response times are defined in the service contract and tracked against every incident. We report performance against agreed SLAs, providing full transparency on our response capability and actual delivery.

Authorised Switching

Switching operations on HV/MV infrastructure require formal authorisation. Our personnel hold the necessary qualifications and approvals for all switching operations covered under our service agreements — ensuring safe, compliant intervention at all times.

Minimal Operational Impact

Our response objective is always to restore safe operation as quickly as possible while minimising disruption. We coordinate all activities — remote, logistical, and on-site — to reduce downtime and protect the wider system from cascade effects.

Your Networks are our Responsibility.
